In cooperation with the Alden Senior Citizen Club, the Town of Alden assists in providing many activities for our community's seniors. From luncheons, tours, recreation programs and transportation service, programs abound for members of the greatest generation.
Senior Lunch Program

Lunches are provided at the Alden Senior Center on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, the cost is $2.25 per person or a goodwill donation. All luncheon reservations must be made seven days in advance.
Senior Activities
All activities are held in the Alden Senior Center, located in Memorial Park, Main Street in the village of Alden.

Senior Transportation
Van Reservations: 937-7336
The Town of Alden meets the transportation needs of Alden's Seniors through the Senior Van Program. This service is available to any Alden Town or Village resident who is at least 60 years of age. The first Wednesday of each month the van travels to Eastern Hills Mall. The service is free, the handicap accessable van travels anywhere within the Township. Hours of operation are Tuesdays 11:00am – 4:00pm, Wednesdays 8:30am to 3:00pm and Thursdays from 8:30am to 3:00pm.
Senior Citizen Trips
In partnership with the Alden Senior Citizen Club, the Town of Alden sponsors numerous day tours throughout the region. The trips are nominal in cost and advance reservations must be made. Alden Meals on Wheels
Alternative Care Services of WNY provides a local, nutritional program designed to provide one, two or three nutritious home cooked meals daily for Alden's seniors. Special diets can be accommodated, meals are delivered hot daily between 11:15am - 12:15pm Monday thru Friday and can be provided for up to seven days per week.
